AI Is Taking Over

Every morning, I stare at a blank page, debating whether to write the way I always have—or let AI do it for me.

It could write the whole damn thing.

I’d skim it, cut the cringe, and smoothen out wired robotic vibes.

A couple of tweaks here and there, and boom—amazing content.

Tempting, right? But I’ll never do it.

Or maybe I already am, and you have no idea.

Let’s be real, AI is here to stay.

It’s the new dawn.

We can argue all day about whether AI is killing creativity, but the truth is AI isn’t replacing copywriters—it’s replacing copywriters who refuse to adapt.

AI is fast. It can brainstorm ideas in seconds, summarize research in minutes, and spit out a decent draft before you finish your first sip of coffee.

Of course, you have to proofread it and get rid of the embarrassing robotic stuff. But in a world where speed and efficiency matter? It’s quite an edge.

The smart move is to work with AI and not against it.

Here’s how.

1. Idea Generation

Let AI throw some random concepts your way if you’re feeling stuck.

Even if 90% is trash, that 10% might spark something brilliant.

2. First Drafts, Fast

Blank pages are terrifying- I can attest to this.

Using AI can give you a rough starting point. The magic happens in your edits.

You can fine-tune the drafts to meet your style and tone.

3. Editing & Optimization

While AI can refine your tone, check grammar, and optimize for SEO, don't let it get carried away and strip away your personality.

That’s your secret sauce.

4. Repurposing Content

You can easily turn an old blog post into an X (Twitter) post, an email, or even a video script with minimal effort.

Work smarter, not harder.

The bottom line here is AI is the tool we’ve all been waiting for.

Some will resist it. Others will embrace it.

The winners will be the ones who figure out how to use AI to enhance their work without losing their authenticity.

But here’s the caveat:

You have to be a solid copywriter to make AI work for you.

If you don’t already understand storytelling, messaging, and brand voice, AI won’t magically fix that. It’s a tool, not a replacement for skill.

Take me, for instance. Writing hundreds of emails has made copywriting second nature to me. I enjoy it. AI just makes me faster.

So, is this newsletter you’re reading written by AI?

Maybe. Maybe not.

The real question is—does it matter if the message resonates?

Talk soon,

Carol.
